Beppe Marotta, the director general of Juventus, is of the opinion that his club are always going to be serious competitors for the Serie A championship
Having won the Scudetto last season, Juventus should have been cruising by now but the expectation could not have been father from the truth, the Old Lady have secured only 4 points in their last four games.
“Last year we won the championship with our never-say-die attitude. From there we’ve continued our positive run and we’re still top of the League as it stands,” the chief told the media.
The boss acknowledges the massive competition the side faces from the opposition in the form of Fiorentina, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003. All these teams have their eye on the trophy and will give their all to own that cup.
The recent defeat against AC Milan has now given Juve's rivals the window of opportunity that they were looking for. At this point the table positions are very finely balanced and the scales could tip against the Turin side if
they are not consistent with their wins.
The Bianconeri after having quickly ascended to the top of the chart with successive wins are now only two points ahead of the team in second position, Napoli
“Napoli are a well equipped team, built with focused signings,” Marotta noted. “They have a Coach who has been there for years and it’s natural they should play a key role this season.” pointed out Marotta.
After defeats against Inter and AC Milan, the suspicions were ripe that Antonio Conte’s crew are depressed and anxious over losing to their two most fierce competitors.
Also some events occurred which led to the club’s fans worrying about its players state of mind. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-Bonucci-c22064 apparently had a disagreement which was quelled as a rumour by the two team mates later on
a social website.
Also http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-Quagliarella-c13194 lost it during the match against the Rossoneri when he was substituted. He will be fined for this outburst, but he later confessed that the anger was momentary and that he desperately wanted to score for
his side.
The club leader was also accused by the media that they were unable to secure a decent attacking player for the outfit. Which was swiftly discredited by Marotta by pointing towards their high goal tally and that they don’t really
require a striker per se.
