Marouane Chamakh does not want to leave Arsenal
Moroccan international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Chamakh-c24294 has revealed that he has no interest in leaving Arsenal in January.
Chamakh joined http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 from Bordeaux in 2010 and went on to have a brilliant start at the club. The forward went on to score seven league goals by November at the club and seemed to be on his way to be a regular starter for the team. However, following that
brilliant start, the player hit a stumbling block and failed to find the back of the net for the rest of the season.
The striker has taken that poor form into this season and has only managed to find the back of the net once. In Chamakh’s defence, he has been given only a handful of opportunities to prove his worth.
Despite that fact, given the potential that the striker has should have come out in those limited games, but it never did.
However, instead of looking to move away from the club, Chamakh is more determined to stick around and prove his worth.
The striker is quoted to have said: "I am relaxed about my future"
"I've spoken with the coach [Arsene Wenger] and I'm staying with Arsenal after the Africa Cup of Nations.

"My agents have had calls from other clubs, but I want to show what I can do in the next few months.

"I'm tired of the rumours, because I only want to be focused on my work for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Morocco-c2961.

"Personally, I have a lot more in my game and I want to demonstrate my level."

The striker believes that Arsene Wenger has confidence in him and that the manager is determined to do that, what is best for the striker.
As a result, the player has ruled out the possibility of leaving Arsenal in the transfer window and has confirmed that he will be flying back to the Emirates, once the African Cup of nations comes to an end.
Once he does return to the club, he has a lot to prove, since all the fingers will be pointing at him once he steps onto the pitch.
What the striker does over the remainder of the season, could arguably decide his future at the club.
