Arsenal forward, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Chamakh-c24294 has revealed that he isn’t sure about his future at the Emirates and could move away at the end of the season.
Chamakh joined Arsenal from Bordeaux last season and after starting off his career as a Gunner with a bang, the striker has found it hard to settle down.
This season, the forward has managed to score only one goal in the fifteen appearances he has made for the team and this has pushed him even further down the pecking order.
Arsene Wenger went on to sign http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thierry-Henry-c34918 on loan from the New York Red Bulls, to cope with the striker’s absence, but there is still a massive doubt over how the player is going to be incorporated into the team, once he returns from the African Cup of
Nations.
When asked whether he would stick around at the Emirates, the striker responded by stating: "I can’t answer that question"
"For now you and I are in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gabon-c2902. Let’s finish the event here before talking about my future at Arsenal."
He then went on to add: "We have so many good players now and I think the coach is the best person to choose who comes in or not."
It is easy to see that Wenger is still not sure over who he can use as a backup for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 at the club. When the Dutch international doesn’t start for the team, it is a mystery as to jut who would fill in for the player.
Apart from Henry, who is set to leave at the end of February, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Park-Chu-Young-c29137 to choose from.
Based on how scarcely the two have been used by Wenger, it is evident that the manager doesn’t trust the two to fill in for Van Persie up front.
It is unclear whether Wenger will look to bring in another player to fill in the void at the club, or if he is going to end up using the players that he has.
However, in order for Chamakh to ensure a prosperous future at the Emirates, he needs to step his game up and start producing some match winning performances.
