Arsenal striker and Moroccan international, Marouane Chamakh has stated that he will go on and decide his future at the end of the current season. The player has admitted that he would not like to continue the way he has been going and would want to try and become a part of the first team.

The forward went on to score a number of goals for the Gunners, but since then, he has fallen down the pecking order and spend more time on the bench than he would like to.
When talking about his future, the striker is quoted to have said: “I will weigh up the pros and cons”
“If I leave here, I'll take that possibility into consideration.

The striker has identified Bordeaux as the club that he would like to return to, but his manager has had different ideas in recent weeks. The players representative has claimed that his client would not be leaving in January, but a move at the end of the season is still in the cards.
Chamakh feels that his age has played a vital role in him deciding to leave the team, should he be wasted on the sidelines.
The striker then went on to add: “I have the idea that I will finish the season at Arsenal,” he said. “But in May and June, I will see things differently. I cannot stay in this situation forever. I'm 27, I'm a competitor, I want to play, I accept many things here because it works. But I cannot live like this forever. I will make a decision this spring.”
Chamakh is still considered to be amongst one of the best striker in Europe and it is only a matter of time before the player ends up living to his full potential.
Nonetheless, it is unclear if that potential will be fulfilled at Arsenal or somewhere else.
