  1. I seriously think that Paquiao will win. I hope Marquez will beat Paquiao, but I think Paquiao has more experience and even though he is older than Marquez he is still faster and more skilled than Marquez, but if there is someone who can beat Paquiao this is Marquez! I'll go for Marquez because I'm Mexicano, but I think it will be really hard for Marquez to beat Paquiao!

  2. Marquez... i'm so sick of paquiao and his big head... losing might actually do him some good...

  3. To be honest, me picking a winner between the two is like playing "Paper, Rock, Scissors". Anything can be expected with those two fighters.

My heart wants to say Pacquiao will win, since he is the younger, faster and harder punching man. My mind is saying, I'd be a fool to count out Marquez winning. Marquez has good countering ability and he showed that in their first fight, working his way back into the fight after being downed three times in round one. It's seriously difficult for me to pick who'll actually win, but I wouldn't be surprise with whatever the outcome shall be, because of the statements I made earlier.

I will say that I will be rooting for Manny Pacquiao, tomorrow night.

  4. Pacquiao by KO in round 4.

  5. I hope Pacquaio will win.

  6. I'm going with Manny Pacquiao by a close, but clear decision this time around.  I thought he won a close fight the first time, but I had no problem with the draw because the way that Marquez battled back was amazing, and its something that you'll rarely, if ever see.  If Marquez does manage to win, it will be because of his excellent counter-punching skills, but I really do think that Manny is too young, too strong, too hungry, and too explosive to let victory slip away this time.  Manny is still in his prime, while I think that Marquez has slipped some since the first time they fought- look at their recent performances against Marco Antonio Barrera.  Marquez won a fight that was a lot closer than the scorecards read, while Pacquiao outpointed him pretty easily.  I would not be all that shocked if Marquez does manage to win due to his counter punching, but I really think that Pacquiao is too strong for him right now and I think Manny will win a decision.

Edit: Marquez did not give him a bigger beating, Marquez had him hurt for one round, and in that same round Barrera put him on the ground, but the ref ruled it a slip.  And the worst beating that Barrera took was from Pacman in their first fight.  The reason he didn't take Barrera out the second time was because Barrera stayed away for almost the whole fight, had he traded with Pacman, he would probably not have made it to the final bell.  Barrera took going the distance as a victory that night.  He still managed to bust Barrera up a bit as well, and he won much more clearly on the scorecards than Marquez did.

  7. I believe that Many Pacquiao will win this fight, because he trained more in my opinion, and Marquez already lost some fights, even though he could easily win them. Marquez is loosing his form, and Many is only starting to get it.

  8. I'm betting on Pacquiao, but this is a very tough call.

According to Freddy Roach, Pacquiao has improved greatly since his first fight with Marquez.  He has become a two-handed fighter, he is younger than Marquez, and he is stronger and a harder hitter.

Marquez is a great counterpuncher, but his knockout record indicates that he doesn't spend all his time sitting back and trying to counter.  He is a superb boxer.

Marquez is close to 35, which is an age at which fighters in his weight class have trouble due to fading reflexes.  They also tend to lose some of their ability to absorb punishment.  Pacquiao is not yet 30 and is in his prime.  Except for his reported difficulty in making weight, he would surely have a physical advantage in this fight.

Based on televised interviews, it's clear that both these guys are fighting for the honor of their countries.  No edge for either one here.  Both guys believe they can win this fight. Neither man can forget what happened in the first round of their first fight, but Manny will be looking to repeat that event while Jaun will be looking to avoid it.   I give the edge to Pacquiao because I think he has a little more confidence than he WILL win than does Marquez.

I just hope this fight won't be affected by a cut or something else that would prevent it from being a pure contest between two fighters and their trainers without help from their cut men.

There won't be a draw this time.  I think there will be a winner, but there will not be a loser.

  9. everybody says paquiao beat barrera easier then JMM. but barrera was only  playing it safe because manny can hit. he didnt play it safe with marquez.

but who gave barrera a bigger beating? marquez did. why didnt paquiao KO  barrera if he KO barrera the firset time around when barrera was more shot then ever.

I think many of you will be surprise what marquez does to paquiao tommorow

  10. Pacquiao...no doubt.

    And why?

Cause Pacquiao is an adroid, pre-programed to kick butts. He wears special shoes that goes after his opponent, closing up the range. He wears special gloves that targets his opponent's chin. And he wears special trunks that emits invisible waves, targetting his opponent and renders him soft and tender (like chicken in a microwave oven).

  11. Paquiao but i want Marquez... i am tired of people acting like PacMan should be #1 p4p

  12. Marquez by decision. It'll be a more technical and boring fight than people think.

  13. Judging from their last bouts, we saw the speed and power behind the punches of Pacquiao while Marquez proved to be of equal footing in the superfeatherweight division when he wrested the crown from Barrera.

The Mexican is an excellent counter-puncher who would most probably use the ring entirely to counter Pacman's strength.

But we also know that Pacquiao is a resilient fighter and relentless whenever he attacks. And this so called "People's Champ" has a bagful of heart whenever he steps inside the ring.

Key issue here will be their conditioning. If Manny (who is reportedly having difficulty meeting the weight and plans to step in the lightweight division in the near future) can get his weight under control before the fight and does not suffer from getting burned out in his training, hands down, it's going to be Pacquiao by 7th or 9th round.

However, if Marquez is in better condition, and utilizes his ring savvy and counter-punching skills, he may get the upset of the year either by knockout in the later rounds or by a razor-thin split decision.

I called it an upset because Manny Pacquiao is dubbed as the "thorn among Mexican fighers." And definitely, a win by Marquez will bring utmost euphoria in Mexico.

  14. Who cares???  This is not a PPV fight.  HBO should have put this on B.A.D.  I will be saving my $59.95 ( High Definition ) for Hopkins vs. Calzaghe & Mosley vs Judah.  I just spent my $$$$$ on Jones vs Trinidad and Pavlik vs. Taylor II.  I just don't see the value in this fight.  I would have loved to pay to see Paquiao vs Juan " baby bull " Diaz...............but DIAZ got his @$$ whipped last Saturday by some new booty.

  15. Should be an amazing fight. If you want to read about this fight head on over to http://www.fightjunkie.com/predictions they have a write-up on the fight and also a forum where you can go and chat about this and many other fight related stuff.
