Marriage dates.?

Question

how do i find out the dates of marriages in my family I'm trying to find out the day my grandparents got married but I don't know how is there a way to do it online for free if so please let me know thanks...

Ancestry.Com probably has the most records online. FamilySearch.org also has some records online.  

Also the various genweb sites in some cases might have records.  For instance put in your search engine, TexasGenWeb or whatever state.  Once you pull up the site, pull up the county.

These sites are run by volunteers and in some cases they have some very ambitious hardworking volunteers that have put a lot of info online.  They have this for each U.S. state.  

However, no way are all records online.  Sometime it is best to go to the county office and do a search.
