You have to go to the one-day City health seminar. They will also kindly process your legal capacity for if you are a foreigner 1100p if you are a citizen 100p. You also of course have to bring the note from where you got the time for the seminar. I forgot the name, but you have to go there before the seminar to answer questions about your expectations of marriage and so does your spouse to be also. Costs nothing except 5p if you forget to bring a pen.

Why don't you marry elsewhere (if you're not from the Phils that is)....bring your fiance where you are and get married where you're from. I'm basing this on the experiences of people I know, few are my friends. They married in the Phils and there's so much confusion and honestly there's more mess if you marry in the church. This guy I know married a Filipina in the Philippines...there was some confusion with the papers and she had to stay in the Phils for 2 years before she could reunite with her husband in Aust.

Yes u can.. A friend had tried it. There are no seminars and the witness was the secretary of the judge.. lol ^_^

If you are talking about precana [seminar for church wedding ] yes you can but you need to pay instead. But as far as I know , pre nuptial seminar conducted by City Health is a must.

One thing to remember is that there is no divorce here in the Philippines. Only annulmants which are expensive and difficult to get.

Make very sure this is what you want to do.
