Marriage with a divorced women.?

hi,

I am living in dubai and got a gf who i want to marry, she is also currently living in dubai. She was previously married and got her divorce from her ex husband. i want to marry her but i dont want anybody to know (not my family either) that she was previously married. i know it is necessary for her to show proof of divorce before getting remarried. Is it possible if she lies and say that she never got marrid. is there a way they can find out that she was married. We will be marrying in court in dubai.

Given that you are so ashamed of her that you want to lie about her past, I predict a very bad marriage.  Since you don't like who she is, you should do her the favor of setting her free to find someone who can be proud to be in a marriage with her.

I dont know what the courts in Dubai are like but lying to the court dosent sound all that wise to me.

It looks like you're so concerned with people's opinions that you're prepared to lie even in court. What's the punishment for perjury there? In her place, I'd change my mind about marrying you.

Hmm. So you love your girl but want her to lie to your family and the court of law of her past marriage. You seem to be caught up in her past(of which you were not apart of) and care more of how she will be 'viewed' by your family. I suggest you give this marriage issue some time to mature. If you love her then you love her for all that she is. You don't go around trying to hide her past which again is not of anyone business. If you care so much about what your family might say or think marry them!
