Hi,

This colleague of mine who is 10 years senior to me AND married has been asking me out. I am not interested and have made it very clear to him. But since we work in the same team and he is far more experienced than me(I am a recent grad), it creates a situation where I have to talk to him even when I detest it(the guy gives me the creeps)! It would just be better if we would get to work separately...but since this is not the scene....how do I handle this situation???

  1. You need to tell your boss about it. Note down everything he does to you for future reference in case you need to sue him for harrassment. Continue to ignore him.

  2. Warn him first that if this behavior continues you will report him to your supervisors, boss etc. and as an added bonus you could tell him that his wife might not like to hear about his behavior.  Sorry this is happening to you.  I hope things get better really soon.

  3. The most advisable thing to do would be to report him to your superiors for sexual harassment.

  4. 1Maybe Call His Wife

    2Creep Him Even More ?

  5. Knee him in the nutz a couple times.

    He'll stop !!!

  6. You should have reported this behavior while he was doing this ... I understand this is probably new to you inthe workplace ... but you have a responsibility to yourself not to put up with this behavior ...

Unfortunately .. some work places tolerate this behavior ... you might ask a woman that has tenure her advice on how to handle this .... that way you can handle it discretely and in such a manner that will be seen in a positive light ....

It is truly unfortunate that some businesses out up with this c**p ... but where I work ... he would be gone ... they have a zero tolerance policy .... and thats how it should be ...

If he does this again .. I suggest that you ask him to cease his advances .. and that you will report the incident to human resources ... and if all else fails ... you can ask him for a note from his wife saying that it is ok :)

  7. Don't quit your job.. just be professional about this all and polite to him but assertive. and let him know in no uncertain terms ''I am sorry but I don't date married men, case closed, please don't ask me again!''

  8. Have you tried garlic? No deodorant? or worse, really really cheap perfume?

  9. tell him to stop  and if he doesnt  the you will file sexual harassment charges against him and his wife will find out and he will lose his  job and his house and kids  and if he still doesnt stop then knock the dog shutu out of him (kick his ase )

  10. Report him to Human resources, or just tell him, "How about I ask your wife to see if it's o.k.?"

  11. Ignore him in all ways except buisiness.
