  1. I never have.  I know people who have, but not me.

I rarely take off my wedding rings.  If I'm going to be doing something dirty or rugged, I take them off and always put them in a safe and obvious place such as right beside my purse.

  2. No, never - in 19 years.

However, my husband has lost two of them! He needs a big size to get over big knuckles, but his actual finger is slim. Now I know about these rings you can get with a little latch on them you open to go over the big knuckle and close when it's on....

  3. My mum lost hers. She was gardening and wearing gloves. The ring must have come off when she took her gloves off but she didn't realise until a while later. We searched the entire garden and house, everywhere, but never found it.

Then her engagement ring got stolen, which was upsetting, even though at this point my parents were seperated. I was meant to inherit it and wanted to give it to my daughter.

  4. Nope.  I never take mine off.  But I'm sure my husband probably has.  He cant wear it to work, so it's usually on his night stand, but I've also found it on top of the fridge or in his truck.

  5. I've lost it many times but, so far, I've always found it again. The longest I've lost it is three days. I found it in the bathroom drawer; it must have fallen in the open drawer while I was washing my hands.

  6. Every time I go to the singles bar. It's the weirdest thing!

  7. nope never, because i never take it off

  8. No I never have. The trick is not to take it off. And if you have to put it on your key ring. If it falls off get it sized.

  9. Yes, all the time. I take mine if when doing dishes, working in the garden (we grow a lot of our own food), running the tractor, etc.

My husband's somehow got caught on his golf glove when we were at the range the other day (he had put it in his pocket, then I guess he stuck his hand in his pocket or something) - anyway, he was about to swing when he saw it dangling. Who knows where it would have ended up? Or if he would have even realized it. He also left his in the bathroom this morning when he showered. So I guess he'll put it on when he gets home.

Leaving rings on all the time is not an option for some people's lifestyles. I could see my husband leaving his on when he works on the cars! Yeah.

  10. I had my wedding ring for 3 months shy of 30 years. Just before our 30th anniversary, I had lost some weight, and the ring slipped off one day and I lost it. My wife was very understanding, and didn't give me any real grief. It was a simple gold band, and it turned out my wife hated it anyway. Just before our anniversary, we went to a local jewelers, and really had more of a fight about a new ring than we did about losing the old one. I wanted another simple band to mimic the old one, but she wanted something more stylish. after an hour or so of driving a poor salesman nuts, we finally decided on a ring that was simple enough for me, but stylish enough for her. So now I have a ring for "the second thirty". :)
