Married in Vegas!?

Question

So me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years and we have talked about getting married for awhile now. Just recently though, out of no where, we decided to drive out to vegas and get married just spur of the moment.. So my question is if we were to go over the weekend... What would we need? How much would it cost? Where would we go?

Please give me all the details.. and please no insulting asnwers.

You can choose a hotel or "free-standing" one.  It's up to you.

for hotels that aren't to expensive try the Imperial Palace or Riveria.  The chapels do it all for you - flowers, paperwork, etc.

This site will give you lots of info. There are even 800-numbers. You can pick your chapel, and call them to find out specifics such as getting the license, etc.

All you need is a marriage license and you can usually pick them up at where ever you decide to get married.

Cost varies depending on if you want it quick like the drive-thru, if you want someone like Elvis to marry you or just a Justice of the peace.

You need to get a marriage license once you get to Vegas (you can get it the same day, no waiting) and find a place that would marry you (pick a chapel - any chapel). Google "marriage license in Las Vegas" to get more info.

we thought about that too and there are lots of web sites for vegas weddings you can find.  even one where you can get married in a helicoptor for about $400.  thats what we were going to do :)  you'll need to figure out how to get your marriage license and all that too.  best of luck!  just check online!
