They don't care about anyone but themselves, they are selfish, the thrill and they don't really think they will get caught...some secretly want to get caught too.

You already answered it.........because he's been married to the same woman for 15 years, but he cant leave because he'd have to pay alimony and child support.  It may not be right, but that's how a lot of guys think.
