Married people!?!?!?

i have a question. i am 18 and i wanted to know how many people you dated before getting married??

I had only 2 serious boyfriends. One is my dearest hubby, the other one is my first boyfriend whom I knew when I was 19 years old. But we never got married. I got married for the first time in Feb 2008. My ex-boyfriend is also married to another girl. hehe It's all happy ending :)

The rest are all casual boyfriends. Casual means I was seeing many guys at the same time.

Don't Count!!!

You will lose track and end up counting forever and forgetting the main reason why you got involved in the first place

Hubby was my first serious relationship tho..well my first everything. We were 15 when we started dating.

So yeah there are such things as happy endings :]

I had one serious relationship in highschool, it was in my sophmore year and it last a year. Dated a guy I worked with, but we ended up being better as friends. Had a few other dates but my husband was my biggest relationship. He was the first guy I could open my self up to and felt completely comfortable around him. We've been married for almost 7 years and very happy together. You'll know when you find that right one. Only took me two weeks :)

Many ... I would count most all of those relationships counterproductive or at best, complete wastes of time. Done over again, I wouldn't "date" at all before getting married. Its entirely possible, better even,  to get to know people and find a suitable mate, without ever being in entangled romantically in multiple dead-end relationships.

Each person is different. My feeling it has to do more with age and where you are in your life than the number dating. For me I believe you should wait to get married until you have finished school and have a job. For most people this is in the mid-20s. Also it has to be someone you care about and connect with. For some they meet them earlier in their and others meet them later. Whatever the case it is best to wait until you have your career.
