Married to man 12 yr older n we r no longer social or active... i wnt 2 go out and still live life. help?

This is what happens when there is an age gap.  I was married to a man that was 16 years older than I was and he got very sedentary.  We were divorced in 3 years.

Do you know why he is no longer social or active?  If not then find out why and try to fix it.  Tell him you want to go out, if he won't go along, go without him.

Tell him like it is.  If he doesn't  want to change his life style to make you happy, file for divorce.  don't run around, don't cheat just file for divorce, move out and live on your own.

Talk to him about it and see how he feels. You should be able to go to him and maybe together you can solve this problem or come to a compromise. This is always something everyone should consider when choosing someone that is quite a bit older than themselves. This is eventually going to happen. I am not in any way saying that it is wrong, but it is something to think about.

You are part of a marriage with someone who doesn't want to do the things you want to do anymore.

Age isn't the problem.....people change....and in a marriage you change with your spouse.

Either occasionally go out with some friends just to have a little fun....no interacting with any males.

Or find some new things you and your husband may like to do together.

well go what is the problem , do he have a gun to your head [if not ] then walk  and come home later and say nothing or do what they do lie say you went to your family house or your girl friend house . but get dress and go .until you die then you worry about this but right now go/

Just have him go back in time and make him realize he was social able back then, and your still in the sociable moods.

He's married to you, he doesn't own you.  Your a big girl and can make your own decisions.
