Married women, why did you get married?

The first time I got married because i was young and wanted to be married.  The second time i got married because I got pregnant and was already a single parent.  Now divorced twice..  not thinking marriage is so important.

I got married for the same reasons most women get married:

1) I love him.

2) I wanted to have s*x without the guilt.

3) I wanted children with him.

I also married my husband because he can make me laugh, even when I don't want to. I've never been bored being married to him. It hasn't been great the whole time (15 years), but it hasn't been a chore either. We agree more often than disagree on most things, we still have conversations late at night, and we still like the same things we liked when we were dating.

If you can keep the things that got you together in the first place alive and well, then you should have a great time being together.

OK my hubby just answered the Q about Married men why did u get married, so i will answer this, i love my hubby b/c, he means the world to me, he is my everything, we are so compatible in so many ways, and we never get tired of each other.He is my rib, and i am his, and we love each other unconditionally.

Oh and we have amazing s*x too , lol!

Because I wanted to be married and i had a child with my husband already and we wanted to have another baby and start our lives together for good.

The first time because I was way too young and stupid.  The second time, because I fell in love and finally found a man who respected me and showed me he loved me in so many ways.

Because my husband was the first man I've ever dated that we got along most of the time and it was harmonious to be in each other's presence. We have lots to talk about and like the same things. I'm a nurse and he's a doctor, we have careers that are somewhat similar in nature being caregivers to the sick. He's the best man I could have found to be compatible with and I'm happy with my choice for a husband.

Because I just knew that this is the person that I was going to go through the best times with and the worst times with. This was the person I would grow old with and couldn't imagine a day without him in my life.

I ask myself this question everyday!!!!!  I am miserably married.  If I were you I would not get married....Why?  It's just a certificate.  If you are happy now with your relationship I say leave things as they are..I guess I am jaded, but I was very happy before the "I do's"

Because I fell in love with an amazing man that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with :) We both want the same things in life and we were ready to settle down and have a family.
