  1. It all depends on  the passport you will be entering Thailand on. Thailand has a bilateral agreement with only 3 countries for a visa for 90 days Brazil, Peru and Republic of Korea. There is no country that is allowed 60 days.  As a UK national you can only enter Thailand for 30 Days with out applying for a tourist visa. However it is very easy to just leave the country overland and re-enter again, you will be then granted another 30 days. There are numerous tour companies that offer this service.

  2. I doubt it very much. Your nationality stays the same when you marry - it has nothing to do with your name. Therefore I assume you will have to adhere to restrictions placed upon your country of nationality. My spouse is a completely different nationality to me and has to travel according to immigration rules regarding his country.

  3. i dont know whether you are from the uk or not but why dont you call the Thailand High Commission they will be able to help you regarding the legality of passports and visas
