  1. the healthboard keeps these records. ring the main healthboard clinic in monaghan and ask to be pu through to the births, deaths and marriages section. ask there. make sure you have maiden names and addresses. hope this helps

  2. www.groireland.ie is the general registrar's site and you can apply there for copies of certs.  However, be aware that many records were kept in the Customs House in Dublin and a fire there destroyed a lot of items.  You can also apply to the various churches as they would have records.  If you have an idea of where in Monaghan, eg Monaghan town, and also whether catholic or church of ireland it would make it easier.

    Good luck.

  3. try looking up a library in Monaghan. they have records like that.

  4. Try the General Register Office

    http://www.groireland.ie/apply_for_a_cer...

Please note this is the official site for all Births, Marriages and Deaths

Watch out for other sites masquerading and offering to obtain certs....

Print out form, fill it in & include relevant fee

If you are looking for early records plaese note that Protestant marriages are recorded from 1845 and catholic from 1864

Check rest of site for other details
