  1. Marriott and Embassy are just next door to each other.  So if you book one of the "Fallsview" type rooms (as opposed to "Cityview"), then you'll have an equally amazing view.  These two are probably the best views on Fallsview Blvd.

That being said.... go with Marriott.  Their beds are nicer, staff is better, and the overall "feel" of the hotel is absolutely beautiful.... ideal if you are looking for romance/getaway type hotel.  Embassy suites would be better if you are travelling with children, because of the way the rooms are set up "suite style" which is great for families.  But I personally didn't find their beds to be too comfortable.... I'm picky  :D

Sheraton Fallsview is also very nice....some of the rooms are a little dated, but beds are brand new, and the location of the hotel is the closest to the "brink" of the falls, further away from the other hotels.  So the view is actually closer, but you get a "side-view", as opposed to a direct view of the horseshoe falls.  I'm actually staying there this Saturday night!

I've stayed at all three before, and whichever you choose I am sure you'll have a great time, and you'll be amazed by the view.  These three have the *best* views than any other hotel in the Falls.  Make sure that when you book, you reserve the "Fallsview" type room, to guarantee your view.  It will be more expensive ($50-$100 more) than "Cityview", but WELL worth the extra money!

I don't remember the room numbers I've stayed in.... I've been there many times!  But as long as you choose "fallsview" type rooms for any of the three hotels, they are all *very* close to the falls and you will have beautiful, unobstructed views.  These three hotels are literally located *directly* in front of or next to the Horseshoe Falls.  Amazing views, all three.

    Have a great trip!

ADD:  I should also tell you that there are *two* Sheratons in Niagara Falls.  One is called "On the Falls", and is just off Clifton Hill.  It has *beautiful* views of the American and Horseshoe Falls, but from a bit of a distance.  If you are travelling with kids, then this would be a great location because you are within walking distance to all of the family-type attractions.  The Sheraton Fallsview (the one I spoke of ^ up there) is located on Fallsview Blvd, which is in walking distance to the casino and other "adult oriented" attractions.

  2. My boyfriend and I always stay at Embassy suites, we like the large suite, the jacuzzi, and the view is incredible. Make sure to specify view of both falls, we did not once and ended up with a view of half of the Canadian side. Last year we stayed on the 40th floor, it is the tallest of the hotels. If you go when it is not too busy, they will offer you an upgrade to stay in a more expensive room for only $30. There is a Keg steakhouse on the 9th floor, and it turns into a great breakfast area in the a.m. Also often included in your stay is 2 free drinks and snacks in the afternoon at a managers reception (great for those over 19) I am not too sure about the other mentioned hotels, we always have a great time at Embassy, I am sure they are all great. Have fun and try to be there on a Friday to see the fireworks from your room. It is esy to book online for their niagara hotel, you just scrool down, read the discriptions of the different rooms, it tells you what floors they are on, and you click on the room you want (the room code on the site that we get is kspn I think, and then we usually get the upgrade at the desk)
