Marrying a US citizen in the US on an L1-B visa, can I continue to work up until I get my work permit?

If I get married can I continue to work on the L1-B after I submit my application for a green card. Can I still enter & exit the country? Will I receive a work permit after a few months? Does this cancel the L1-B? On receipt of the work permit can I work for any company in the US?

Yes, Yes and Yes

Yes you can continue to work as long as your L1 is still valid, yes you can travel on your L1 whilst your greencard is being processed and yes you should receive your work permit withing 90 days of filing for your greencard.  Once you have work authorization from your green card application all restrictions are lifted and you can work anywhere you want.
