Marrying to help a friend with immigration problems?

my friend wants to marry her friend to help him get his citizenship...how does that work?

How does this whole process work....and how long must they be marry before they could divorse?

If they divorse would he still b a U.S. citizen?

umm.. i'm not 100% but i believe they get citizenship or green card, but  i think citizenship

i think they can divorce and if they marry for just that then they can still b with whoever they want and its not really cheating

Yes he would. All they do is marry, tell the government and suddenly he's a citizen.

I hope at least they will only marry in front of a judge and only violate Mans Laws and not actually do it with a preacher and rub their illegal acts in God face.

By the way, God is not real to me, but if he is to her, she really needs to think about this.

This is ridiculous. If they want to be a U.S. citizen go through the normal process just like everybody else.

this is a very thin line because with so many illegal immigrants coming into the u.s. by marriage the rules and regulations have sky rocketed. my friend recently got married to a guy who has a mexico citizenship and they get interviewed about everything from food to s*x and match the answers. so if you friend does it make sure they get their stories right. also they like to see them in action (not s*x) but how they communicate and act with each other.

As far as  know, they would have to remain married (and show some sort of proof that they are living happily together)  for 3 years before they could divorce. Before that, he would lose his citizenship.

Dont  even try to avoid legal immigration entry for you will be

deported along with him should you be taken in a sweep from ins and ice will not I say will not sort out the details until your half way to the border for deportatiuon.processoing.
