Marsa matrouh beaches?

Question

i am planing on spending few days in marsa matrouh with my family, and i need your advice, where to stay?

i need to have a direct access to a nice beach where i can swim freely with a swimming suit

there is the Beau Site Hotel in the city .

it has a private beach.

it offers good services .

Ageeba is a beautiful beach .

it has a small hotel

it is situated east of the city at a distance of about 45 mins drive .

it is quieter and more beautiful to swim there .

Ageeba was the cleanest and most beautiful area when I was there..if you can see the tiny pic where my avatar is it is ageeba....but we rented a furnished apartment for a week which I recomend if you can because you have so much more privacy and can cook the food you like and such.

Also try to see Cleopatra beach while you were there, its not a swimming thing but it was really amazing.

They have several hotels in the city itself that have private beaches which are cleaner and are nice for swimming.

** yeah the others are right...Beau Site hotel was the place I was thinking of...we had lunch there and it was great service and food and really clean beach.

The Beau Site hotel at the west of Marsa Matruh is very nice. It has a private beach. The food is very nice and the service is very good. The water in its beach is the perfect for swimming and is not dangerous. You should reserve long in advance since it is very popular.

There is another beach called agiba. It has a hotel that is not as good as the Beau Site. But it is not bad. There is another way that is to go to Agiba beach, at the entrance you will find a small kiosk where the people there can show you some chalets for rent. Chalets at Agiba are good and well kept, and there is always some free, as Agiba is far and not all tenants are there all the time. Most of them have gardens and you can swim almost in a private beach in front of your chalet. the sea at Agiba is not that safe as in mersa Matruh itself. Agiba is 20 KM west of Matruh, but it is very beautiful and calm.

as far as a i can remember el beau site beach which belongs to el beau site hotel was the best, Ageeba also was cool.
