Marscay (AUS) ch.1979?

Question

Ok I have been all over the net and cant find what im looking for. Marscay is in my mares bloodlines and i want to know about him. All i can find are other horses that were bred from him...I have his picture but cant find any info...Any One?

Marscay was a very good racer in Australia, his biggest score was the rich Golden Slipper S. in 1982.  He is more famous for being an excellent sire, having lead the sires list twice during his lifetime.  He was an ok sire of sires, with notable sons at stud including Marwina.  He has also become well known as a broodmare sire, with runners like Elvstroem.
