The Rhone giants are keen on signing at least two offensive players including Valenciennes’ Foued Kadir who is desperate to seek his career elsewhere
Ligue 1 giants, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 have made a terrific start to the new campaign and if their summer problems are taken a look at, Les Phoceens have surpassed expectations. And, in order to make sure that there season is not derailed by any means, Elie
Baup would be given funds to conduct his activity in the upcoming winter transfer window.
And, according to La Provence, Marseille are seeking two offensive-minded players, in particular, Valenciennes star, Foued Kadir. The Algerian international has been constantly linked with a move to Stade Velodrome and was on the verge of signing for the
side this summer.
With his contract set to expire next June, Foued Kadir has not chosen to sign an extension which means that the Algerian star would be available on a very good price.
However, with the African Cup of Nations also on the horizon, Elie Baup knows that he will be needing to make a few more changes to the squad in order to have cover for the likes of the Ayew brothers http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Foued-Kadir-c13896 if he arrives at the
Velodrome.
Elie Baup is not necessarily keen on signing a new striker from another league as he wants a player with Ligue 1 experience so that he easily settles down at the new club.
Furthermore, with the future of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314, another striker is the need of the hour.
Remy was previously linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur during Redknapp’s time at the White Hart Lane and with the Englishman now at the helm of affairs at Loftus Road, Marseille might consider selling Remy to the London-based club largely due to the
striker’s inability to put in a good run of games due to constant injury worries.
And, if Marseille are able to sign two strikers, one can imagine seeing Remy walk out of the club as Vincent Labrune also has to keep tabs on the club’s wage bill.
