The Mexican international is attracting a lot of interest from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 who are keen on making a few defensive reinforcements this summer
Olympique de Marseille intend to strengthen their defensive sector this summer. In recent weeks, Les Phoceens have been linked with moves for the likes of Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-Odibe-c25349 and Aleksandr Dragovic.
Now, one more name has been added to this ever-growing list of potential signings in 25-year-old Hugo Ayala. The Mexican international is currently under contract at Mexican side Tigres de la Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon whom he joined in 2010 from

At UANL, Ayala has become one of the best defenders in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mexico-c2956 and several clubs have been monitoring his performances for quite some time.
Mexican daily, La Aficion and Medio Tiempo claim that the residents of Stade Velodrome are not the only club following the player. the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926
are also keen on signing the player which means that Marseille would surely be hard-pressed in signing Ayala.
The player has played more than 150 games in the Mexican division and is slowly getting some game time for the Mexican national side.
However, his club’s sporting director, Miguel Angel Garza is not so keen on letting the player go that easily.
While talking to the media, Garza admitted that there was a European team that contacted the club but it never came up with an offer. However, Garza says that if a good opportunity comes up this summer, the club will consider their options.
“Last year, a European team approached us but there was nothing in the end. This time, there has been nothing about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hugo-c16384 and nobody contacted me. We want the player to stay. If he has an opportunity which is positive for both the player and the club, we
will analyse it. however, our first commitment is that Hugo is with us,” concluded Garza.
So far, no club has made a concrete offer for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hugo-Ayala-c16389 which means that Marseille will have a good chance of signing him if they speed up their speculated pursuit of the player.
