Milos Krasic has just won the Scudetto with the Turin giants and could be joining Olympique de Marseille this summer
Today, the budget of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 for conducting business in the summer transfer window is not really high. Furthermore, the club is expected to record a deficit of around 35 million Euros same time next year which is certainly not a good sign.
However, this has not dampened the club’s ambitions and aspirations to sign some of the best available players around the world.
Reports in both French and Italian media claim that the Rhone giants are keeping a close eye on the situation of Serbian international Milos Krasic. The 27-year-old is currently under contract at recently-crowned Italian Serie A champions Juventus where
he has struggled for game time this season.
In the recently concluded campaign, the Serb has played just seven league games and was rumoured to be on the verge of leaving the Turin giants in the January transfer window.
Nearly a month ago, the player’s agent, M. Joksimovic confided to French media that the player was unlikely to leave for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 as no French team has approached Krasic yet.
“To tell you the truth, I do not think he will go to France. No French team has approached him or me or even made contact with Juventus.”
However, Gazzetta dello Sport now claims that Marseille may already have contacted La Vecchia Signora. Though the Ligue 1 side haven’t made a concrete offer so far, they have a great chance of actually landing a player who is desperate to pack up from Turin
this summer.
Krasic is keen on ending his misery in Turin and even admitted that he should have done it last winter.
Therefore, this could be a big boon for Olympique de Marseille as Juventus won’t really be looking for a high transfer fee. Juve bought the Serb for 15 million Euros a few seasons back and would be willing to let Krasic go for cheap.
However, Krasic’s wage demands could prove to be a stumbling block as the player earns 150,000 Euros per month, a fee that Marseille would be hard-pressed to pay keeping in view their financial woes.
