The Rhone giants are keen on signing the Serbian international from Juventus where he did not play a huge role in the Turin club’s Scudetto triumph
A few days ago, Serbian international, Milos Krasic said that he does not feel that he will move to Ligue 1 as no French side has approached him or Juventus for that matter. However, the winger says that there is still hope as things can change quickly in
football.
“To tell you the truth, I do not think I will go to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899. No French team has reached me or even made contact with Juventus. But in football, every team has a chance to recruit a player before another does, so we will see.”
And things are going pretty quickly in football. Italian media, Sportsmediaset now claims that Didier Deschamps is indeed keen on bringing the former CSKA Moscow star to the Velodrome. If a transfer seems out of the context considering the club’s financial
position, a loan move might be agreeable to all three parties involved.
Bringing a player of Krasic’s stature would certainly be a boon to Les Phoceens as they will get their hands on an experienced player with a name despite a great drop in form since joining the Turin giants.
Since the meeting with DNCG, the Rhone club’s management will sell one or two players this summer. Therefore, the recruitment of Krasic could be a part of the new policy of the club.
Moreover, Krasic earns 150,000 Euros per month at Juventus – something that is within the financial scope of Marseille.
As for Krasic, even if he might not be really excited at the prospect of playing in Ligue 1, his difficulties at Juventus might force him to reconsider his stance. The Serb has a lot of competition for places, manager Antonio Conte does not really trust
him and not many clubs out there want to sign him.
Therefore, the player could succumb to Marseille’s advances as the club will give him a lot of time to showcase his talents.
For fans, the renewed interest in Krasic should be assuring news as it gives the impression that Les Phoceens are still ambitious.
