I have just read that both Luke Ronchi and Shaun Marsh are goingto make their debut matches for Australia Saturday night in the 20/20 match against West Indies...

Ronchi has come so Brad Haddin can give his broken finger time to heal,he said the 8 days rest before the ODI's will do it good, more time to heel...

And Marsh is making his debut after his great performance in the IPL league...

So how do you think the new boys will go??

Do you think Marsh will play like he did in the IPL??

Also Shane Watson has been named for the match...

Good idea or bad?

Here is the Aussie ODI line up:::

Twenty20 v West Indies: Ricky Ponting (capt), Michael Clarke (v-c), Shaun Marsh, Shane Watson, Michael Hussey, David Hussey, Cameron White, James Hopes, Luke Ronchi, Brett Lee, Mitchell Johnson.

  1. Marsh is a great Player, i think it's cause of him why the team i was supporting in IPL made it in semi finals...

  2. well as Jake said, Ronchi is not the same class as Haddin, but its still nice to see new blood in the side and this may prove to be inspiration for Ronchi to improve his game and become more consistent

well Marsh T20 form shows that he does deserve a chance to play top class T20 and in the ODIs as well, Swampy's boy has got an opportunity now, its important that he now grabs it with both hands, also its nice to see the 2 Hussey boys lining up together, David has scored alot of runs for a long time and really deserves his chance (even if hes now a Victorian! altho that may earn me a crack of the whip from Ange for saying that LOL)

Watson....well hes showed his T20 form has been good and he hasnt broken down so he deserves a chance in the T20 team, i'm not sure if he will last out the ODIs tho, cos for him to be worth his spot, hes not only gotta be able to make good scores, he has to bowl 10 good overs, i'm not sure yet if he can do it, but anyone thinking he should be in the test side is kidding themselves, i dont know yet if he can get thru a couple of ODIs, theres no way i'd play him in tests! he needs 18 months of solid cricket without get injured before i'd even consider him

  3. Ronchi is a capable keeper, but nowhere near Haddin's class. But I think in this instance he should be OK.Marsh has proved he can hold his own.OMG, I hoped they'd sent Watson home! lol. What is he doing, going for another injury? lol
