  1. my fav. kung fu styles are these 3

    bagua

    hung gar

    tai chi

extremely good for street fighting and practical self defense, fighting one opponent, or multiple opponents. it doesn't matter, and there are many strategies for fighting more then one person, if they are skilled or not. many videos on these styles on youtube, just type in bagua applications or something.

going to the ground in a street fight is not an option because your too open for attack.

kung fu takes longer to learn then kick boxing, but it is way more useful. it wont be long before mma starts to incorporate kung fu techniques.

boxing is not the sweet science, kung fu is.

theres only one problem = finding the right teacher, theres alot of fakes and wannabes out there that claim they know real kung fu.

good luck and dont be fooled by a mcdojo

  2. Krav Maga or Kenpo for mass attacks.

  3. Krav Maga is a good option.

Video showing some of training against multiple opponents in Krav Maga i found on youtube

  4. Muai thai

  5. Japanese Jiu-jitsu.

    Best wishes :)***

  6. Questions to ask yourself.

Are you capable of putting down any opponent with one strike hand or foot under less than ideal conditions?.Ideal conditions would be the way you spar or practice in a school .

If you can't and that is really the only answer then you won't survive an attack by multiple opponents.

But you can by changing your perspective. If you are looking to be the kung fu hero or the ninja super killer or the mma never back down fighter you will get your *** kicked or worse stomped to death.

MUSASHI MIYAMOTO the greatest tactician and strategist who ever lived was in a fight against multiple opponents .He killed 4 ESCAPING one slash of the sword each and the rest didn't chase him .That was his perspective in that situation to escape.Naming a style or method is nonsense .The brain is the ultimate weapon.

  7. simple. It depends on the fighter and how you have trained. I have trained in traditional Okinawan Karate, however my instructor incorporated alot of judo, grappling, Muay thai into our training as well. We also trained and sparred from 2 on 1 to 5 on 1 training. There is no best martial art it all depends on various ways you train.

    Hope this helps.

  8. This is one question where there is a difference between styles.

Any stand-up art, striking or non-striking would be preferable to a grappling art.  It's really impossible to grapple with more than one person at a time.

  9. Kung Fu is always the best answer.
