  1. Feel the chi inside of you and unleash your hidden potential danielson!

    Wax On!

    Wax Off!

  2. I would stick with dojo's or dojang's in the 40 - 100 per month range and I would try to stay away from 6 month or anual contracts.

  3. everyday wouldn't be good for your body but if you decided to do it and foudn a place that would allow you too... probably 100 dollars a week...

  4. i depends where you go. every place is most likely to have a different price. i do karate, and it cost 100 dollars a week. martial arts is very expensive...but its worth it =)

  5. depends on where your going. Prices range from $30-$300 a week.

  6. I used to teach Japanese Shoto-kan at the university many years ago. Since I did not own the gym (dojo) I didn't have to pay rent or mortgage or utilities. I charged students anywhere from FREE to about $50. per month. I asked them to fill out a form before I accepted them. I always gave FREE tuition to low income students or families. Not all instructors can afford to do this. If you have a state university nearby go to their Athletic Dept. and ask what is available.

  7. Depends on where you live, up in my area, $100 - 115 a month will buy you an MMA gym open 7 days a week, 10 hours a day.  My school is $100 a month and we are open 6 days a week, saturday hours are short for us and no Sunday hours, I don't want to work Sunday and can't find anyone else who feels like it.

The city I live in has one of the oldest Judo clubs in the USA, they are $30 a month, we have the a Combat SAMBO program, again $120 per school semester as it is held in the public school buildings.  The instructor was awarded the title Grandmaster under the Soviet System, where titles were fought for, not purchased.

There is a guy who teaches Shotokan (JKA certified instructor) at the local Gold's Gym for free, which is about what it's worth.  The gym itself is $50 a month via EFT.

Many schools (including mine) operate under 1 year EFT contracts for really good rates.  Your area may be different.  below I have enclosed the link for what I feel is the best MMA gym in town and one mediocre place with good hours and some others.

See what is available in your area and examine the alternatives.

  8. Every place is different. Prices range from 30-200 dollars, depending on where you go and who teaches.
