Martial arts club in high school?

Me and my friend have been thinking of starting a martial arts club at our public high school. I'm just wondering if you think they would allow it.

should be fine as long as you speak to some teachers about it and you dont do full contact sparring. the school might also what it to be supervised by a teacher and/or a qualified martial arts instructor.  if you do any sparring they will probs want you to where pads.

I wish I had one. Although my sensei has asked me if I would help him do a Kenjutsu demonstration at my High School.

You should be able to even with sparring because if they have wrestling then then why not. Just have set rules and when sparring have protective gear just like a tournament.

they allow it at my school and i go to a very strict, private, catholic, all boy school... but i highly doubt they will allow sparring... becuase with wrestling there is tons of paperwork with insurance that must be accepted my an organization
