Although Warwickshire would have liked to get an early breakthrough, they would have still been pleased to see the back of the home team’s opener.

Madsen also gave his wicket away after scoring 16 runs from 19 balls. He was well set and would have liked to remain unbeaten until the end, but failed to keep his focus going.
