  1. Have no hope for those who feel no shame. Fear trumps shame.

  2. I've been willing to change BEFORE obama, I want us all us to change for the better

  3. I am willing to change my life into something special to help out my bro and my family.

  4. Somebody asked a question like this yesterday...for some reason, it was pulled...so I'm just repeating what I tried to say yesterday:

Can anyone tell me what this excerpt from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech " The American Dream" mean?

"It is a dream of a land where men of all races of all nationalities and of all creeds can live together as brothers"

    please and thank you! :]

It pretty much means what it says it means...if you're wondering where it fits in the social fabric of reality, I'd have to say that it offers an idealist vision of America...when the rubber hits the road, things aren't always so clean...I wish a great man like King could just speak some inspiring words and things would magically happen, but often your vision of perfection and my vision of perfection will clash...it gets worse when you stick a microscope on the formation of any individual, and nowadays, everybody wants to be an "individual", meaning that some of the things they want are going to clash with some of the things I want...King wasn't an idiot, he knew this, and he was trying to point us in a better direction...I don't think he knew how to get there anymore than you do because people can't always find the trust they have to have for strangers if this harmony he's describing is going to work...the deeper we climb into our own little worlds of "want" the more we often exclude the other...especially when money is involved...I understand your anxiety, it's gotten worse in the past few years, but if you demand this black man quits hating this white man for hating this christian woman who hates this g*y person who etc, you end up alienating the society because you've touched on their individual "right" to believe as they please...the best you can do is set a good example for what you believe in, and don't let the trolls get to you.  That's as idealistic as I get anymore.
