Martin Skrtel all praise for Liverpool fans, believes the club can qualify for Europe
Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has heaped praise on Liverpool fans and thanked them for all the support in recent months after a dismal first-half of the season. He also hailed Kenny Dalglish’s impact as a manager and vowed to comeback stronger than ever
next season.

Skrtel acknowledged the side’s powerful performance in the 3-0 win against Newcastle United at Anfield over the weekend and was delighted to clinch the fifth spot from Tottenham Hotspur. He revealed that the fans have played an instrumental part in the club’s
revival and European qualification now seems to be in reach.
"It was such a great match in front of great fans and I would like to thank them again. I am very happy with the result and it is much easier to perform when you are backed by such a great crowd," the central defender was quoted as saying.
The Slovakian insisted that it looked impossible to qualify for the UEFA Europa League at the start of the year but Kenny Dalglish has made it possible. He maintained that Liverpool will have to win their remaining three games in the Premier League including
the clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.

“We are now very close to our goal which is Europe. We have three games to play and I am sure we can reach our goal with this support,” the 26-year old defender concluded.
Martin Skrtel has made 124 appearances for Liverpool and has scored three goals in his four seasons so far at the club. The defender also has 49 international caps to his name in which he has found the net five times.
