The Spanish mentor went on to express his disappointment over Hoolahan’s winner, and insisted that it will always be difficult to win games if they continue conceding goals like that.
“The big disappointment is seeing the smallest man on the park getting a free header in the six-yard box. It’s difficult to win games when you concede goals like that”, Martinez concluded.
Wigan are now sitting 18th on the table following the loss.
