The Wigan manager claims that the Chilean can hone his skills at the DW Stadium just like Tom Cleverley did a few seasons ago, helping gain a position in the United line-up easily.

Angelo Henriquez may have been acquired by the Red Devils during the summer transfer window, but the attacker has yet to make mark at the Theatre of Dreams after being pushed aside for the club’s embarrassment of riches.

Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie are Sir Alex Ferguson’s preferred pair up-front and the duo have been firing spectacularly in the last few weeks, disposing of Manchester City and their quest for silverware with ease in the derby.

However, Sir Alex, being man who always has one eye on the future has chosen to send out Henriquez on loan, so that he can learn his trade and return to the side with much more experience in top flight English football.

The Chilean International as seen as one of the most talented players in the South American region and the Reds will be able to benefit from his abilities later on.

United have sent him on a temporary loan to Wigan Athletic, where Roberto Martinez will be looking to utilize his talents, just like he did with Tom Cleverley only two seasons ago.

“Angelo is as good a goalscorer as you will find. He scored goals at Universidad de Chile and he is going to score goals here [in England]. I am sure he will be an important player for United. We are glad we can work with him and he can use Wigan as Tom
Cleverley did and adapt to what is needed in this league,” said the Wigan boss while speaking to the media.

In other reports, Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he will not be celebrating a goal if he manages to find the back of the net against his former club when the two sides go head-to-head in the UEFA Champions League.

"I will not celebrate my goal if I manage to score at Manchester United," the 27-year-old said after Thursday's draw. [Ferguson is] a fantastic person. A human person. He taught me many things. Like I said before, he's like a father in football. I really
miss him and my relationship with him,” added the Portuguese star.
