The Basque international was rumoured to break-in the Spanish side’s training facility last week to grab his personal stuff, but has subsequently denied the false speculation.
Bayern Munich new boy Javi Martinez joined the Bundesliga side from Athletic Bilbao after a summer long transfer saga. The player’s former club is still sore that he left for the Bavarian giants even though, they received 40 million
euros buy-out clause for the young prodigy.
The 24-year-old stated that he is surprised that fans actually think that the widespread rumours are true. He conceded that he visited the facility to get his personal belongings at night and entered the place like a normal person,
and there is no suspicion of a breach in his visit.
"It is incredible that there are people who believe this story is correct," http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Martinez-c24468 was quoted as saying in an interview.
"I got there by 11PM and they opened the doors perfectly normally. There is no way you can call it a break-in," the Spanish international added.
Apparently, there were widespread news that the youngster had come without prior information and found the gates closed, so he jumped the wall and entered the premises illegally. After that a security official confronted him and
was shocked to see it was actually the former player. The midfielder then took his favourite shoes from his locker.
Los Leones are yet to address this issue publicly, but according to the press they might have received the notification prior to the player’s arrival. The security agency confirmed that the guard was alert as the ground had been
breached on several occasions in the last few weeks.
Previously, Bilbao president Josu Urrutia was holding on to the defensive midfielder and turned down the offers from the FC Hollywood outfit. The club fans also jeered him during a training session at Lezama, before the versatile
player completed his dream move to the Allianz Arena side.
Furthermore, there is also another controversy with Osasuna asking for 800,000 million euros from the sale of the highly-rated boy. Bayern chief Uli Hoeness claimed that the dues are to be paid by the Lions.
