The Spain international claims that he has finally had time to rest following a tiring 2012 and that he is looking forward to the second half of the league campaign
Bayern Munich summer signing Javi http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Martinez-c24468 has insisted that he will regain top form, after relaxing in the winter break. He played great football for his former club Athletic Bilbao over the years and have failed to replicate
the same form with the Bavarian giants.
However, he wants to be at his best for Der FCB when the Bundesliga season resumes. The 24-year-old sealed a transfer to the Allianz Arena in the summer transfer window. He had a long campaign last term as he was involved in both
the 2012 European Championships and the London Olympics with the national side.
Nevertheless, the star player stressed that the four-week winter break has helped him relax. As a result, now he can showcase his full potential and help Die Roten win some silverware this term. He claimed that he will be fully
fit in the coming weeks and said that he is happy to ply his trade in Munich.
The defensive midfielder stated that there is no break in the Spanish La Liga. He said the rest will help them and gives them plenty of time to train for the next half of the season.
"In http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 we do not have a winter break, so I did not know how it feels. I think it's very good for us; we can work in peace and prepare ourselves well for the second half of the season. This has been a totally new experience for me,” he added.
"I was back home with my family and friends for Christmas. After all these turbulent weeks and months I had the opportunity to regain some strength. I took advantage of the break but I needed it, too. I have playing many matches during the last year," he finally
concluded.
Moreover, Martinez added that he spent the Christmas with his family and friends in Spain. He suggested that he was burned out as he played a lot of matches in the past year.
