Maruchan ramen noodles?

Question

I'm a vegetarian and I'm wondering if I can eat CHICKEN flavored maruchan ramen noodles. I ask because I'm not sure if the chicken FLAVOR actually includes any meat? Also, can vegans eat it? If not, why? What animal products does it include?

Maruchan has chicken broth in it. Also vegans do not eat anything that comes from an animal.

the chicken flavor is chicken... you have to read the ingredients... if it says "stock" "extract" "fat" etc. it's from the dead animal.... sometimes (but rarely) you see "chicken flavoring" (or beef, whatever) and if you check the ingredients there is no meat in it... but usually, it's meat....

the oriental flavor used to be safe for vegs to eat but i checked the package recently and it said "beef extract" on it... i guess they changed it :(  so i dont' think any of them are safe for vegs now...

maruchan chicken has Chicken Fat, Powdered Cooked Chicken, & Lactose.

there are vegan versions of ramen in the natural sections of most supermarkets, that would be flavored artificially or with vegitables.

It has chicken bones for flavouring.Also even if something has artificial flavour, you should not eat it as it would allow the flavour to register on you and you may one day actually start consuming it.

yeah i would say it contains some kind of meat. so if you are a scrict veggy then i would say not to eat it. but dont just count on me bc im not sure.. it should say on te package. artificial chicken flavor or real chicken flavor, if not read the ingredients and see if it sayd anything about chicken. i luv that stuff. lol congats on being a vegatarian! i used to be one for a few months.. but i gave it up bc my mom bribed me with an ipod and laptop.. which i know isnt an excuse but..anyway good luck! sorry i probably didnt help much
