Marussia driver Timo Glock has no regrets over his decision to join Lotus – Formula 1 news
Marussia driver Timo Glock has said that he doesn’t have any regrets over his decision to join Lotus as a newcomer back in 2010.
Glock said that he is feeling positive that he will remain in his current team for the next season and asserted that he is not upset over his choice over securing a race seat with Lotus couple of years ago.
“I know how my future looks at the moment,” the Marussia driver told motorsport-total.com.
Furthermore, when he was asked that whether he will be at his current team in the next season, he said, “Yeah, right.”
However, he also said that if he will get a chance to move to any other team, he will surely consider it for making the right decision about his career’s future in the sport.
“I always run to the phone when someone calls me, no matter who it is,” he said.
In addition, it will be important to mention that the German driver has surely got some talent and abilities therefore he has been approached by Renault which is now Lotus two years back. Nonetheless, he expressed that he does not feel sorry over his decision
in the past.
He added, “When I make my decisions I know why I made them and there for me there's no whining or thoughts of 'could, would, if.’”
It is to be noted that he has not been able to score even a single point in the season so far and is standing at 21st position in the drivers’ championship along with his teammate, Charles Pic.
Besides, he has not been able to qualify for the second session in the first eleven grands prix. Additionally, he has retired in one race and could not qualify for the European GP as he could not set the time within the range of 107%.
Although, he has not been able to deliver the desired outcomes until now, however, he is positively looking forward to come up stronger in the upcoming nine races after the ongoing mid-season break.
