Marvel 6bar-bd gets too cold - explodes soda can

Question

My beverage cooler is getting too cold and it seems the thermostat does not sense the temp correctly and does not shut off the compressor. Does this unit have a replaceable sensor ?

Also, the interior light remains on - the switch tests ok
