what are some of the best stories marvel has put into trade pperbacks or graphic novels??

  1. Maybe you should try "New Mutants" Marvel Graphic Novel #4. I liked it.  


  2. One of the best for me was Weapon X by Barry Windsor Smith which recounts how Wolverine got his adamantium laced skeleton. Its what I think as the definitive Wolverine origin story. Another good one is Marvels by Alex Ross which shows how superheroes are percieved by humans in a real world setting. Haven't read The Ultimates yet but I hear it has a good storyline.

  3. The classic Secret Wars and the more recent one are excellent storylines that are both in TPB.  Ultimates Vol 1 and 2 are great as well.
