  1. Great question. . . . Monzon was one of the scariest, most physically gifted middleweights of all time.  But no one knocks out "Baldy".

Hagler wins a hardfought, bloody split decision, in a fight that neither wants a rematch of!

  2. I rank them tied for 2nd place on my all time middleweight list.  Monzon had a great jab, height and reach and a sledgehammer right hand that he used to his advantage.  He also had an iron chin and was never knocked out.  Hagler was a fierce fighter with excellent boxing skills and power.  He also had an iron chin and was never knocked out.  I call this fight a draw.  If they fought 5 times, each would win twice by decision and have a draw.

  3. so far, 1 for hagler & one draw, and here's where i throw a spanner into the works!!!!

i pick monzon to just shade it in a war of 2 of the top 3 middleweights of all time.

  4. Hagler would win marvin moved a lot better on his feet
