Hagler is the greatest Middleweight of all time and I'd pick him to KO Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins. Kelly Pavlik isn't even as good as Hopkins was.

Pavilk did beat a big name in boxing today Jermain Taylor twice.  Hagler lost to Suger Ray Leonard.  So i think Pavlik could beat Hagler hands down

Hagler would stop Pavlik in the middle rounds. I would also say that we still haven't seen the best of Pavlik yet!

Do you mean each at their prime?  I'd go with Hagler at his prime over Pavlik now.  (But, come to think of it, Pavlik may not have reached his prime yet.)

Pavlik just hasnt gotten the oppurtunity to show all of his power.  Come to think of it, Pavlik is a very endurant fighter.  He fights, not run... he would give hagler a good fight, but just because hagler had some legendary fight doesnt mean that pavlik should just lose right away...  just wait till pavlik wins more legendary fight.. when he does, he'll be a great fighter... but no doubt hagler is good.. i see this fight going to decision, and the decision could go both ways...

I'm liking Pavlik more and more as fighter but if you really think that this would be a competitive fight, you didn't get to know Marvelous Marvin Hagler.

Best Middleweight ever against someone whos only credentials is beating a mickey mouse fighter who Hopkins gave way too much respect too twice. Pavlik is not in the same sentence as the greatest Middleweight of alltime. You are right it would be a war but Hearns was a bigger warrior than Pavlik in my eyes and he got destroyed.

Gotta go with Hagler, Pavlik has exactly two championship fights under his belt.  Hagler was the best in the business for almost a decade and fought everyone who was anyone.
