France international Marvin Martin is certainly one of the hottest prospects in French football at the moment. The young playmaker is currently under the books of FC Sochaux Montbéliard where he has become an integral part of the side.

While talking to Italian publication Extratime, the young midfielder revealed some clues of his future destination. Martin revealed that he has already made an agreement with the club’s president that the club will not block a move away from the Stade Auguste
Bonal next summer.
Earlier reports suggested that Martin might move to a bigger French club before making a big-money European move. However, it has now come to knowledge that the talented player might consider a move to another league next summer.
“I thought about maturing by going to a big French club like Lille or Lyon. I think I’ll be ready in June for a new club,” said the youngster while talking about his future.
A move within France would certainly be a good one for Martin and reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain might also consider bringing the midfielder to the Parc des Princes next summer.
However, Martin said that his father might never agree to his son moving to the Ile giants.
“My father will never agree even if he took me to the Parc des Princes. He fears the weight of expectations and temptations of the city, but I’m not a show-off, I ride in an old Peugeot,” said the midfielder thus almost ruling out a move to PSG.
However, the youngster admitted his love of the Italian and Spanish leagues and said that though he is not sure what will happen in the future, he would certainly be happy to go to either of the two leagues.
With the Euro 2012 rapidly approaching, Martin’s performances would be under a lot of scrutiny so the youngster will have to maintain his form in order to earn a move to a big European club.
