Martin has expressed his delight over his move to Lille and termed the transfer as a golden opportunity for him in his footballing career.
"The whole project at Lille persuaded me", said the player.
"The infrastructure is beautiful. I’ve watched closely the building of the Grande Stade Lille: this place will attract a lot of people for sure.”
Lille will play in the next edition of Champions League and that is something that attracts the Frenchman as he has not played in the competition before.
"There is also my ambition of playing in the Champions League. I can’t wait because I have not had a chance to play in this competition."
