Mary Sue ...?

Question

This is a pretty simple question. I need help making a female character that would be in the 1960's and is not Mary Sue. Just give me what her talents would be, some name suggestions popular in the nineteen-sixties, yet still slightly unique. I do know that my character I want to create cannot swim and is deathly afraid of turtles. That's it :] Just tell me some talents, interests, and things she would not like or be interested in as a girl born in the 1960's.

Here's a list of several years from the 60's and famous people born in those years.  A suitable name should be on the list.  The talents and interests of these people is easy to find.  It would vary by where they live.  For example, just like the Beach Boys sang about California girls like certain things and the Midwest farmer's daughter likes other things.
