OK...all you recovering addicts and alcoholics out there, I would like your opinion...Not the BIG BOOK opinion or traditional one...

Do you think pot is like truth serum and you can peel the onion faster or more honestly?

If by "peeling the onion" you mean self analysis and HONEST personal evaluvation, then NO! I wondered around in my conscience for years, thinking I was finding wisdom from within, but after 25 years of rolling and smoking, followed by 15 years of sobriety, the only thing I 've gained is a "memory full of holes".

I can hardly remember anything or anyone which has proven to be a significant social embarassment. I wish I hadn't thought that weed was so innocuous.
