Maryland learner's permit...driving teens?

say i have a learner's permit. in maryland. and my mom is in the passenger seat. and i legally allowed to drive teens around, as long as my mom is with me in the passenger seat? or am i only allowed to drive siblings around?

if you think this is legal, can you give me a website to prove it?

  1. Just keep your friends in the back seat, this is the same in all states, the parent or legal guardian must always be in the front seat so that person can take control of the vehicle if an emergency arose.......


  2. you re allowed to drive as long as there is someone in the car that has a drivers license preferably you re mom but yes you can. actually this is what i found

    While driving, learner's permit holders must be accompanied by a qualified supervising driver who is 21 years or older, and has held a license for a minimum of 3 years. The person must be seated beside the new driver at all times, with no other front seat occupants.
