The excerpt comes as a continuation to part 1 of Marylebone Cricket Club Universities and Northamptonshire 2nd XI’s 3-Day Match Recap.
With a 46 runs lead in the team’s favor, the much confident Northamptonshire came out with its second innings following an impressive start from the team’s usual opening pair, Robert Keogh and Andrew Reynoldson.
Adding a safe 45 runs kick off to the team, the side lost Reynoldson as the opening wicket for the team after a successful caught out dismissal off attacking bowler Peter Turnbull’s delivery.

As for Reece, much credit goes to the player’s not out performance worth an impressive ton of 112 runs that finally led the team into securing an eventual win on the fixture.
