Masada Scolari likely to dominate Betfred Goals Galore 480m Trophy - Heat 2
Masada Scolari is likely to dominate proceedings in Betfred Goals Galore 480m Trophy - Heat 2 at Nottingham in England on Monday, March 12, 2012. The winner of the flat race will be awarded with cash prize of £125.
The Grade OR event will start at 20:36 GMT and six quality runners will be seen in action in it. Their names are: Masada Scolari, Westferry Kaden, Bower Eagle, Bowtime Regan, Head Iton Eoin and Young Vicarious.
The bookmakers are pretty much confident that Masada Scolari will be able to take victory today, as he has been performing consistently well over the past few months. The punters will also be interested in placing maximum number of bets on him, as he seems
to be the best greyhound of all participants at Nottingham.
In his last race at this venue, Masada Scolari finished runner up, despite being considered one of the least favourites to finish in top three. He had a starting price of 8 to 1, but ran exceptionally well.
David Pruhs’s trainee did not get off to an ideal start, as he was crowded badly. He had less time to recover, as the race distance was just 305 metres. However, he still managed to bounce back strongly and went onto take the second place. If he gets a clear
start today, it will be difficult for the others to catch him.
The black hound is the son of Droopys Scolari out of Kyle Atrium and was born in February 2010.
The punters might also be interested in risking some money over Westferry Kaden’s victory, as he is quite capable of challenging the race favourite. However, his recent outings have not been much impressive, which suggests that he will continue to struggle
in this class.
A. Stone’s trained hound managed a fourth place finish in his most recent outing. He will have to do a lot better than that in order to fight for victory today. The black dog is the son of Droopys Maldini out of Westferry Bantis and was born in October 2008.
Other than the top two favourites, Bower Eagle also seems to have a slight chance of winning. He is not in good form though and will have to produce something out of the box.
No other runner seems to be capable enough to challenge Masada Scolari, who is in great shape at the moment.
